Perran Sands :
Just a excellent break enjoyed it so much all staff we dealt with could not do enough for us from start to finish will be back many thanks
I've never seen a park where the staff gel together so well and are so happy and dedicated! A fabulous park!
We enjoyed our holiday at Perran Sands, a key feature being direct access to the beach. However, having stayed at a number of holiday parks in France, we did feel that the facilities within the park could be upgraded to represent better value for money. We would consider coming back - mainly for the beach.
We all thought the park and staff were excellent, had a few problems with the caravans, but these were put right straight away. This was the best short break we have had in along time, and very good value for money. Many thaks to all Management and staff.
the kids were able to do their own thing on an evening, which gave us a break. Thanks very much for a fantastic break and WELL DONE TO YOU ALL!
Good location. Good facilities. Not so great accommodation. We were changed from a caravan to a chalet... Not sure why. We went with it but in retrospect should have asked to move to a caravan. The chalet wasn't particularly clean (I had the anti bac wipes out and cleaned it myself) and seemed to be quite damp. It could also have done with some refurbishment. No complaints about the site though.
Unable to give full review as COVID restrictions in place so there was no entertainment or indoor facilities. This is a nice park, caravan was clean, except there where cigarette buts all over ground at the entrance to our caravan and the bins hadn't been emptied, but that is down to housekeeping, I must stress that the caravan was fairly new, clean with fully functioning kitchen appliances, we went last weekend which was blowing a gale and throwing it down with rain, we hardly felt anything. When it became chilly the heating was instant and very warm. Power shower was lovely . Can't fault the quality of the caravan. Plenty of beach right next door, with lots of space to explore.
Great base for exploring Cornwall, Perranporth within walking range around 2-2.5k note return is mainly uphill, nice work out. Easy access to a massive beach but again will require some elevation to get back to park. Park is also right on the Southwest coast path with great hikes in both directions.Found facilities to be more than adequate, well stocked co-op, bar, takeaway etc obviously you find things can be a little overpriced but that’s almost expected. Can’t comment on entertainment as didn’t use.
