Perran Sands has some great outdoor activities around the park - you can go bug hunting in the countryside - explore the forest under the guidance of our expert Rangers.
Being next to a sandy beach you could explore the coast or make sand sculptures - you will learn all about the coast and nature.
This was a last minute family trip ( children 11 - 7 ) and we have had a great time.
All of the staff are friendly and helpful and our prestige caravan was clean and held up extremely well in the strong winds!
One of the highlights for us has been the entertainment team, especially Charlie and Lewis. They have been full of energy all week which is a credit to them given it's out of season and the crowds aren't massive!
The bar isn't cheap but that's to be expected.
The pool is clean and well staffed.
The surrounding area is beautiful and if you want a beach with easier access there is a gorgeous one a few minutes drive away in Perranporth with a car park right next to it.
We took a surfing lesson there with 'ticket to ride' ( on the beach front to the left of the car park ) Charlie ( a different one 😂 )was our instructor and was brilliant with everyone.
Very good campsite there are lots of places to walk to like the massive sand dunes and nice Sandy beach. It has a big indoor pool and very friendly people who are happy to help with enything. There is also nice food.
The caravan we stayed in was spotless and well equipped. It was obvious that all Covid secure measures had been taken. The park itself had excellent facilities and the staff could not have been more attentive, especially the reception staff who were all excellent. The location is superb too, if you don't mind an uphill trek coming back from the beautiful beach. All in all is highly recommend Perran Sands. It's by far the best Haven site I've visited.
